testXpert^® II version 3.1 is packed with even more functionality

Zwick’s testXpert® II version 3.1 has been packed with even more functionality than previous versions.

Here are some of the new additions:

Education Package
The testXpert^® Il Education Module is a modern E-Learning tool which allows students to learn by themselves. Based on Adobe^® Flash^® technology, it runs on all Windows platforms:
• Teaches the basic principles of materials testing
• Tutorial program for Zwick testing systems
• Optimum integration into university curricula

Terminology switching
• This is available for all Master Test Programs.  On opening the Master Test Program the terminology and associated specific Help can be selected.

Master Impact Testing Module
• Contains “Automatic Curve Recognition” option for instrumented impact tests with evaluation of type of failure to EN ISO 179-2:
• Expansion option for connection to drop-weight testers
• Connection to impact testing machine via USB
• Connection of a Notch Vision measuring systems for Charpy impact tests

Master Cyclic Tests
• Integration of temperature control system for temperature chambers

Graphical Sequence Editor
• Export to HTML or Text format for all ZIMT scripts defined in the current test program.

General function improvements
• Direct export to Microsoft^® Excel^® Export interfaces with one mouse click.  Separate worksheets for parameters, results and measured values.  Measured values and measurement interval are freely configurable.

Result labelling and labelling blocks in graphics:
• Labelling with one mouse-click.  Result labelling with name, and value.  Individual configuration of labelling blocks and result labelling

Export of parameters
• Export of the test parameters for the indicated specimen to an HTML file

New Feature in Expanded Control option
• Integrated Oscilloscope.  Additional channels for Expanded Control.  Custom layout element

Expanded TraceabiIity option
• Display of log files in the testXpert configuration level is now possible

Temperature Conditioning Controller option
• Independent control of up to 3 temperature controllers

Control of testControl electronics via Ethernet interface
• Clear and reliable assignment of testing computer and testing machine
• 500Hz synchronised data set transfer
