The robotic testing system 'roboTest F' (Clamp) is designed for non-rigid specimens such as foils, textiles and non-wovens. By using the appropriate specimen grips, metallic and plastics specimens and wires can additionally be tested.

• System can be mounted on materials testing machines from 5 to 250 kN.
• System consists of a travelling axis plus a carousel holding up to 200 specimen grips.
• Specimens up to 500 g can be tested.
• Specimen grips are available as metal clamps, braces or magnets.
• Freely positionable servo axes allow the carousel to be equipped as required with a wide range of specimen grips. In addition to metallic specimens, non-rigid foils and textiles, thin metals or carbon-fibre wires and mild steel can be carried in the magazine.
• Manual tests can be performed whenever required – specimen feeder simply swings away for access.
• Control is via an industrial controller with autoEdition2 automation software.
• Optional extras include HOST connection.
